Delicious inside out cheeseburger recipe

I haven't posted any recipe's yet. I figured it's something I want to start from time to time.

I cook low fat and healthy stuff so I am going to post how I make it. You can substitute for what you like.

I have to say HANDS DOWN these are the BEST cheeseburgers EVER.

1-2 pds ground turkey
1/2 onion chopped
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves of garlic minced (I run them across a grater so they are minced)

5-8 wedges of LIGHT garlic and herb Laughing Cow Cheese. (if you don't use this stuff you should start it's the best.. the consistency of cream cheese and all the yummy taste with a TON less calories and fat!)
a few slices of regular cheese (optional)
1 pkg of hamburger buns

Mix all ingredients, Except the laughing cow cheese, together and start to form your burgers. Once you have one in a ball put 1/2 to 1 whole wedge of laughing cow cheese in the center and cover up with meat and flatten into a burger. Do this until the meat mixture is done.

I grill mine of the George Forman grill when it's too cold to grill outside, but you can use a pan, or a griddle if you want.

Toast the hamburger buns-I put them in the oven right on the rack for about 10 min at 200 degrees.

When the burgers come off the grill place on a plate and top with sliced cheese of choice if you want. I don't for mine, but K and hubby like the extra cheese.

YUMM These are HANDS DOWN the best Cheeseburgers EVER....

Enjoy.

If you have any questions I'll be happy to clear anything up. I am not a chef, nor do I write recipe's well. I am the type of cook that just eyeball's everything :)

Happy Saturday

just one of those "girl" days.... ugh earbuds!

At least it's Friday!

There are some days when it's just hard to be a girl. Apparently I'm having one of those days. I literally ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes and was so ANGRY I got off in TEARS!

Everything went wrong.

Let me just say that 20 min is NOT a good run for me. It wasn't even 2 miles. I run at least 3 miles when I run on the treadmill. I do at least 5 outside. So yes 1 3/4 is NOT a good run for me.

It started off when I was at about 3/4 mile and had to stop TMI WARNING ( to go to the bathroom!) I know I should have went before I got on the treadmill. I tried running through it, but when you gotta go, you gotta go! Especially when you drink as much coffee as me. I HATE to have to stop once I start running.

After I get back on, I am just having issues with my new earbuds. I must have small ears because NO earbuds fit me right. GRRRR.. yesterday hubby and I went shopping and the sweetie he is, bought me an armband for my new IPOD touch and new earbuds, the kind you can wrap around your ears. I was so excited. So much in fact that I skipped the gym today because I wanted to use my new gear. (that and K has been complaining of a sore throat but I sent her to school telling her she can go to the nurse if she is feeling bad, Friday's are test days. I am NOT a bad mom! LOL) I expected a call. Didn't get one :) she is fine now and at a friends house playing. They got out early today. OK Back to my earbuds- These new ones don't even fit right and the cord is sooo long not to mention I miss the volume control by the right earbud that is on the ones that come with the IPOD. I was pushing through STILL with these annoying buds!

Since I was missing the volume control and for some reason some of my songs are quieter than others, I had to take my IPOD out of the arm band to adjust the volume. ANNOYING.. since it's so snug in the thing and it's got a plastic covering.

All of these normally wouldn't bother me.. BUT today is a GIRL day..

lol

Happy Friday

Welcome Home Daddy.

We made rainbow cupcake and the foils came out tie dye looking. Too cool.. it's almost art.

K and I are so happy the hubby/daddy is going to be home tonight.

She decided to welcome him home. She is going to send him on a scavenger hunt. The first note on the door coming into the house from the garage reads: "come through this door"... there are a few including one on the den door telling him to "put bags in here" and finally he will end in the kitchen, where we will be standing with the "welcome back" cupcake cake we just baked for him. It was all K's idea (well mine to bake him something) but her idea for the scavenger hunt and end with us in the kitchen with his "tasty treat".

Have a great day!

We had a girl weekend

Happy Monday! I know, I know, I said I'd blog more.. I really haven't had anything to say and I don't want to just post a random rambling blog.

Since Hubby is still gone for work. I can't wait for him to come home this week YAY!

K and I decided to have a girl weekend. Friday night we rented movies her-Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (cute!) and Me- Julie and Julia. We made pizza's on tortillas and popped popcorn and had some mini chocolate chip cookies. That was dinner during the movie YUMMM...

Saturday we went shopping:
Target, all we ended up buying is a hot chocolate for her (kid size less that $2) and I got a free tall coffee because I brought my coffee bag in (yes we do buy and drink Starbucks even at home!)

Toys R Us- K had a gift card with just over $10 on it. She got 2 horse figurines and we both decided on a new board game for family game night. Sorry Sliders-FUN. K has a lot of games but they are for younger kids so we are going to start incorporating "older" games in and getting rid of the old ones, like Candy Land. :)

Then we wanted to grab some lunch so we went to our favorite place to go together-Panera Bread.

I was going to go grocery shopping after lunch but after eating I didn't feel like going grocery shopping LOL (I went today after the gym)

We came home and played her new game and we also had a "dog show" and "horse show". I judged and she trotted them around and did tricks with them. She was having so much fun in-fact that when her friends came over to ask her to come out and play (ride bikes) she didn't want to go play!

Sunday:
Church, we both decided to give up something for Lent. Me: Chocolate and K: being bad and not listening.

The weather was so nice we decided to go run (she rode her bike) on the track. I normally do 5 miles, but she wanted to do 6. We did 6, but after 3 she was complaining that she was tired, her butt hurt ect. She pushed through and we finished (not like we had a choice lol) I could have kept running, the weather was perfect!
We played Sorry Sliders again and she watched her rented movie again for like the 4th or 5th time. I decided to buy it for her today, when I returned the movies. I haven't got her anything for her honor roll report card, so I decided the movie would be for that. When hubby gets home, we are going to go do something, museum or something.

Today it was back to normal! I must have pushed my workout too hard today. My legs were noodles by about half way through sculpt class, I still had to do yoga.. Spin takes a lot out of me and I pushed it today and then when we worked legs in sculpt, I guess they decided they had enough. If you haven't been to yoga before. DO IT. Most people think it's just stretching. I am the person that can do cardio sessions hours long. But it is hard for me to hold and balance a pose for 30 or so seconds. Good Stuff.

K's bus just passed she will be walking in the door any minute now. Snack and homework time.

Hope everyone has a good week.

I've been a bad blogger..... sorry

I haven't posted anything or read any blogs in a few weeks. I'm sorry. I have re-discovered my passion for reading. I have been reading in most of my spare time. I even deleted my FACEBOOK because I don't have time or energy to keep that up.

I hope everyone is going to have a blessed Valentine's day! My hubby is out of town for work :( so K is going to be my Valentine this year :). I made fudge today, it's just not Valentine's day without chocolate!

BTW I'm currently reading Beth Moore's new book "So Long Insecurity, You've Been a Bad Friend to us." I don't know many women that do not struggle with some kind of insecurity. This book could help all of us :)

K and I went a saw the Chipmunk movie the "sqeekquil" I don't know if I spelled that right LOL... it was so cute.. I didn't like the first one much at all, but this one was cute. :)

Have a good weekend... I am going to take some time to read your blogs :)
